What is codezoners?

Coding skills have never been in higher demand, but traditional computer science courses are often costly. At codezoners you’ll learn to code while getting paid and you’ll meet people in a fun, collaborative environment. During the 9-month apprenticeship you’ll be taught exciting technologies for two days a week. Three days a week you’ll get a work placement with a technology company while earning above the London living wage (£10/hour) which is just under £1,000/month for three days of work per week.

Who is this for?

Anyone above 18 who is excited about code. No previous coding experience necessary. All we ask is for enthusiasm to learn and work with other people.

What will I learn and how?

You will learn the latest technologies while programming games and applications in Java, web services and web sites with Python and HTML/CSS. You’ll also use Javascript to create impressive visualizations and you’ll create prototypes on the Raspberry Pi and Arduino platforms. Often sessions are built around a creative theme and it will feel like you’re playing a game, not sitting in a classroom.
